Hand and Foot Syndrome (Desquamative Syndrome)

Royal Mail Increase Postage Our Price Holds
Just to inform our loyal customers that we will NOT be increasing our postal prices following the high prices rises from the Royal Mail for sending parcels.
The prices we pay to send a basic package out has risen by approximately 10%! Hows that for a inflation busting increase!
So our decision is to say thanks Royal Mail but we prefer to look after our customers present and future and will absorb the costs in house rather than increase postage prices.
Using Best Hand Cream Udderly Smooth For Deep Hydration
This is a technique that can be used in extreme dry skin cases to get hydration into the skin quickly.
Simply coat the affected area in a layer of cream that is only very lightly rubbed in. Leave a coating of say 1-2mm thick all over the problem area. Leave it there for at least ten minutes if you can. Twenty minutes would be better. Then slowly massage it in.
This can be done as many times as necessary to get the skin thoroughly hydrated again. It works very well but you must then rub in small amounts regularly to maintain the hydration. Over a day or two you will then be able to add cream less often.
Using a little often approach probably works the best long term.

Udderly Smooth Products & Pricing
I just wanted to keep my customers current and future up to date with some information I received earlier this week from my distribution company in the UK.
Due to the exchange rate between the £ and $ they are likely to be increasing the price I pay for the creams. They are holding the price until the end of November but after that they expect that the price to go up.
Fortunately I have just restocked at the old prices so I should not need to alter the pricing for a while yet.
I just wanted to let you know. I doubt it will be a major difference, a sign of the times I guess!
Udderly Smooth Best Hand Cream For Central Heating Dryness
Udderly Smooth hand cream and lotions cope with all the extremes of air conditions that can affect our skin.
I spoke in a previous article about how the cold has a negative affect to skin conditions well on the flip side so too do modern central heating systems. What happens is that the air circulation has an over all drying nature which causes a loss in skin hydration.
You might be thinking I can’t win outside I’m at the mercy of the weather and inside the central heating will get me! Not to worry I have two things to suggest.
I use the little and often approach to using the Udderly Smooth cream, tiny amounts applied very regularly, often less than every hour. You can tell when the skin starts to ‘pull’ and feel less supple, that’s the time to apply the cream. You can’t ever over do it.
My second suggestion is to increase water intake. We all know we should drink 8 glasses a day, in my opinion as soon as that heating goes on we should certainly try to do that.
I read somewhere that 4 out of 5 people are dehydrated in the western world, and that is often the cause of much of the diseases that we have today. If that is true we can go a long way to helping ourselves just by doing something as simple as drinking more water. Try it!
Is quite easy to tell if you are dehydrated. Your urine should be a very pale lemon or almost translucent colour. If its a strong yellow colour then you are definitely in need of water.
So thats my plan to combat the dryness that the heating systems cause, drink more water and use the Udderly Smooth creams and for more severe dryness drink more water and use Udderly Smooth Extra Care cream.
The Best Hand Cream For Cold Weather
It’s this time of year when people with skin problems tend to suffer the most. Wet cold and windy conditions our not our friend!
This time of the year I use the little but often approach. I always apply cream first thing in the morning and then before the school run! Then again when I get back. I probably apply it in very small amounts every hour or so just to keep the hydration up. The cream soaks in almost immediately, so there is no waiting for it to absorb.
I pay special attention to applying cream before going outside, before using water and before going to bed. I find keeping to this routine helps to keep my hands well hydrated and much less likely to crack. It doesn’t have to be just hands of course, any skin that is exposed this time of year will benefit from consistent application of the cream.

Why You Should Avoid Potatoes If you have Skin Problems
Anybody who suffers from dry cracked hands might want to avoid handling potatoes with their bare hands.
I have found that the liquid in the potatoes reacts severely with my hands. It took me a while to work it out, but when I did I realised that fairly soon after I had touched a raw potato the skin almost went raw.
It transpires that my mum has had the same problem, in fact it may have been her that suggested what was causing an even worse problem than usual!
So you might want to bare that in mind if something suddenly seems to make your hands worse.
